Churchless faith is a growing phenomena and it invites us to reconsider ways to spot and nurture faith outside the traditional boundaries of the church. We explore why a growing number of people who align with faith are churchless and will ask if our understanding of church needs to broaden to accomodate those who express faith in alternate ways.

After 17 years as principal of Vose Seminary in Perth, Dr Brian Harris recently became the director of the AVENIR Leadership Institute, while continuing to do some lecturing at the Vose Campus of Morling College. The author of 6 influential books, including “The Tortoise Usually Wins: Biblical Reflections on Quiet Leadership”, “When Faith Turns Ugly: Understanding Toxic Faith and How to Avoid It” – and his most recent book, “Why Christianity is Probably True”, Brian is a popular speaker and a respected theologian. He is a distinguished visiting international scholar of Surgeon’s College in the UK and has spoken and taught in many different countries.
